Blackwing Lair[]
Author's note: There are countless ways of killing bosses, especially on Ascension. This Wiki Guide serves as a way to offer Tips and Knowledge about each encounter, so you are able to adapt yourself and your raid team to overcome these challenges.
Blackwing Lair is a 6 Encounter raid ending with the notorious Lord Victor Nefarius (Nefarian) <Lord of Blackrock>.
All bosses in Blackwing Lair drop pieces of the Tier 2 Raid Set, excluding the leg and head slots, which drop from Ragnaros and Onyxia respectively.
You do not require an attunement to enter Flex Normal or Flex Heroic difficulty, but entering on Ascended difficulty (as long as Tier 2 is current Tier) requires you to complete the Blackwing Lair attunement. Once Tier 2.5 is released, Tier 2 raids on Ascended difficulty will be available without having completed the Attunement.

Entering Blackwing Lair[]
Blackwing Lair is located inside Blackrock Mountain, along with Blackrock Depths, Blackrock Spire and Molten Core. There are two ways to enter Blackrock Mountain - Searing Gorge Entrance & Burning Steppes Entrance.
Trash mobs[]
Elementium Ore is a notable drop from Blackwing Technician, used to to smelt Elementium Bar, needed to craft Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
