Engineering Trainers[]

You can learn Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, and Artisan Engineering from trainers in every major city. You don't have to visit different trainers.

Alliance Trainers:[]

  • Lilliam Sparkspindle- Stormwind.
  • Springspindle Fizzlegear- Ironforge.
  • Ockil- The Exodar.

Alliance: Stormwind City[]

Stormwind's resident engineer trainer is an ingenious gnome by the name of Lilliam Sparkspindle. He can be found in the back of the Dwarven District. He's standing in front of his tent; you can't miss him.

Alliance: Ironforge[]

Oh, you're looking for Springspindle Fizzlegear then. Why that little gnome and his gadgets... Let me tell you, if you're going to his shop in Tinker Town, keep your hands to yourself and don't pet and of his mechanical sheep! Exploding Sheep... now why would you even make such a thing?! Anyway, just head east from the gates of Ironforge, or follow the sound of explosions. His shop is to the right of High Tinker Mekkatorque.

Alliance: The Exodar[]

So, you are willing to help repair the mighty Exodar? I heard it will take years before the Exodar is fully functional once more. You have two hours. Just kidding. Our engineers are located on the lower levels of the Trader's Tier. Go with the Light. You are looking for an engineer called Ockil, he will be able to train you in the ways of Engineering.

Horde trainers:[]

  • Roxxik - Orgrimmar.
  • Franklin Lloyd - Undercity.
  • Danwe - Silvermoon City.

Horde: Orgrimmar[]

  • You'll find that goblin and his toy shop in the Valley of Honor. The shop is called Nogg's Machine Shop and Roxxik can be found just inside; walk straight inside and he will be right in front of you. You can't miss him!

Horde: Undercity[]

  • The engineer here is called Franklin Lloyd. He tinkers in the Rogues' Quarter, on the outer ring.

Horde: Silvermoon City[]

  • An odd choice... but I suppose I'm not one to judge. Danwe is the one you're after; her engineering stand lies near the Court of the Sun, on the path to Farstriders' Square.

  • 15 x Explosive Sheep - 30 Heavy Blasting Powder, 15 Whirring Bronze Gizmo, 15 Bronze Framework, 30 Wool Cloth
Keep 5 of these, you might need it if you choose Goblin Engineering at 200.

335 - 355[]

  • 70x White Smoke Flare - 70x Elemental Blasting Powder, 70x Netherweave Cloth
This will be green for the most part, so this is just an approximate number. The recipe is sold by these vendors. If you are in Shattrath City, then Wind Trader Lathrai is the closest one. It's a limited supply item, so if someone bought it before you, then you have to wait for it to respawn or go check the other NPCs who sell the recipe.

355 - 360[]

  • 5x Khorium Power Core - 15x Khorium Bar, 5x Primal Fire
There are cheaper alternatives, but you will need these later at 370. It's not important to reach 360 exactly, just make 5 of them and jump to the next step.

  • 15x Adamantite Rifle - 45x Fel Iron Casing, 30x Adamantite Frame, 60x Handful of Fel Iron Bolts
You might have to make a few more (or fewer) because the recipe will be yellow. The recipe is sold by Viggz Shinesparked in Shattrath City. It's a limited supply item, so if someone bought it before you, then you have to wait for it to respawn.

370 - 375[]

  • 5x Field Repair Bot 110G - 40x Adamantite Bar, 40x Handful of Fel Iron Bolts, 5x Khorium Power Core
You might have to make more than 5 because the recipe will be yellow. The recipe is dropped by Gan'arg Analyzer in Blade's Edge Mountain. There are 4 groups of these mobs, but there are around 4-5 minutes between respawns after attacking the first group. The drop chance is pretty high, you will probably get it after you clear the 4 groups the first time.
