How do I attune for Molten Core?[]
These are the steps for attuning for Molten Core in Classic WoW.
Starting at level 55 players are able to pick up the quest Attunement to the Core in the bottom of Blackrock Mountain from Lothos Riftwaker.
Once the quest is accepted you will be asked to venture deep into Blackrock Depths to acquire the Core Fragment, near the very end of the dungeon.
Running Blackrock Depths[]
Blackrock Mountain is one of the first 5 man dungeons to do at the end-game of Classic Wow. There will always be new level 60 players running this dungeon for a quest-run, giving some pre-bis items, or other players that are there to do "lava runs," rushing to Emperor Dagran Thaurissan. Regardless of the type of run you are in, the group will pass by the short tunnel leading to the Core Fragment!
If your goal is simply to rush to the core fragment for attunement, your best bet is to find a group to do a "lava run", jumping off the platform Lord Incendius is on.
When in lava, you and your team will need to hug the left side of the cavern, allowing the players to stand on a small sliver of land, avoiding the damage from the lava. Once this narrow path comes to an end the party will have the bridge leading to the Core Fragment. Though to get there, the team must swim through lava.
Once you have collected the Core Fragment, you can finish up the Emperor Dagran Thaurissan run, or just head out of the dungeon and return to Lothos Riftwaker, completing you attunement! Attunement allows you to use Lothos Riftwaker to teleport directly into Molten Core!
