What is High Risk PvP in Project Ascension?

High Risk PvP is an Ascension Exclusive game mode that allows FFA Loot on Death PvP in WoW. This means you can attack your own faction with the Criminal Intent spell and become an Outlaw, or become a Protector of your faction by killing Outlaws and the opposite faction. Dying in High Risk PvP will result in dropping some equipped gear that is not Fel Commed and items in your bag. You can obtain Bloodforged Dungeon and Raid gear from mobs in the world based on your current item level. Risking better gear increases your potential rewards.

  • High Risk is in a separate phase from No Risk
  • Swap in and out of High Risk at anytime via the Hybrid Risk system

  • Loot on Death
  • Enhanced gear drops in the world(obtain Bloodforged dungeon and raid items from open world)

  • Soulbound items can also drop, and will become Bloodforged if they do
  • Items in your bags

What does NOT drop on death:

  • Shop items like Experience potions or any Artifact (gold) quality items.
  • BoP items not intended to be traded like Primal Nethers.

Can I drop account bound or shop items in High Risk?

No. Artifact (Gold) quality items will never drop in High Risk. Account bound items will not drop in high risk. Anything from the Donation Shop will never drop in high risk.

How do I protect gear in High-Risk? What is Fel Com?

You can insure your gear via the Fel Com portals! Instead of dropping your gear, you will drop gold based on the item level of the item that would have dropped.

  • By default: Your Main Hand, Off Hand and Ranged weapon are automatically fel commed on all new characters
  • Visit a Fel Com portal to talk to a Greedy Demon pet
  • Select the slots you wish to Fel Com (YOU CAN NOW FULL FEL COM)
  • When you die in HR PvP, if you would have dropped an item that is fel commed, you will instead drop gold
