Attumen the Huntsman

[Trash] :There is no real need to watch out for anything extraordinary, just try to focus [Spectral Stable Hand’s], keep the tremor totem up or other fear counters.

Phase 1

  • Very short phase since it ends when Midnight reaches 95% health.
  • Ensure you are inside the circle and no one is standing on a straw cart.
  • At 95% of Midnight hp,  [TANK] Attumen will spawn near Midnight and should be picked up by a second tank, phase 2 begins.

Phase 2

  • [TANK] Tank Attumen facing away from melee dps.
  • [ALL] Avoid fire at all times. [TANK]  try to reposition the boss so melee DPS wouldn’t stand in fire.
  • [ALL] Occasionally there will be ‘shadow horses’ spawning outside the circle, they will deal shadow damage in small AoE around them.
  • [TANK] Attumen will put a 10% armor reduction debuff on the tank. Tanks should swap their targets when one of them reaches 3-4 stacks (this highly depends on tanks and healers gear).
  • [DPS] DPS should focus on Midnight while Attumen should be tanked nearby to get passively cleaved.
  • [HEALERS, DPS] Get decurse abilities to remove Intangible Presence ( priority of decursing : tanks > dps ) :

Phase 3

  • This phase begins when either Attumen or Midnight reach the 25% hp threshold, they merge into one boss with the HP of the highest one.
  • [DPS] Aggro is reseted to give tanks some time before starting to dps.
  • [HEALERS, DPS] Keep decursing Intangible Presence like in Phase 2.
  • [ALL] Keep avoiding fire at all times, if you are a tank try to reposition the boss so melee DPS wouldn’t stand in fire.
  • [HEALERS, DPS] you can stack in 8 yards range of the boss to avoid Berserker Charge :

  • [ALL] Occasionally there will be ‘shadow horses’ spawning outside the circle, they will deal shadow damage in small AoE around them.

Tips & Tricks

  • You can reset the boss fight by exiting the circle.
  • Try to grab both fire resistance and shadow resistance abilities (Paladin aura, priest shadow buff, mage fire ward etc).
  • Disarm can be used on Attumen to reduce his damage by a large margin (over ~50%).
  • You can repair your gear after the fight by interacting with a vendor near the boss once your reputation reaches Honored with Violet Eye.

Random Servant’s Quarters Bosses

To spawn a random boss you need to kill the trash in the basement, once it is done it will be announced in chat that the appropriate boss spawned. Which boss spawns is random and can’t be influenced by a player.

Hyakiss the Lurker

  • [TANKS] ensure you are first and second on threat.
  • [HEALERS, DPS] remove the poisons.

Rokad the Ravager

This is basically tank and spank fight, watch out Rokad hits very hard.

Shadikith the Glider

  • [TANKS] try to tank him while facing back of a wall he will do AoE knockback during the fight.
  • [HEALERS, DPS] he can silence you, watch out for it.

Moroes

[Trash] :

Try to get a fire resistance aura, [TANK] do slow and careful pulls, the trash groups can easily chain, once you feel comfortable enough you can pull more braveously. Ensure there is no trash left in moroes banquet room.

[Pre Pull] :

  • Decide on kill order only 4 mobs out of possible 6 will spawn near moroes priority is :
  1. Lady Catriona Von'Indi - healer,
  2. Lady Keira Berrybuck - healer,
  3. Baroness Dorothea Millstipe - mana burn,
  4. Baron Rafe Dreuger - stun,
  5. Lord Robin Daris - whirlwind,
  6. Lord Crispin Ference.

You should shackle/turn evil/frost trap the 2 adds that are the least on kill order. Mark the mobs properly and prepare for the pull. It is NOT recommended to attempt this without any way to CC the targets. This is a 2 tank fight.

[Fight]

  • [TANKS] if your group is using CC, pull the adds away from the initial stage since they can dispeal each other from the CC’s.
  • [TANK (1)] you are tanking moroes and one of the adds {cross}. [TANK (2)] keep the {skull} on you while the rest of the raid kills it, then pick up next add [TANK (1)] moroes will enrage each time one of the adds dies; you can use your defensive cooldowns at this time.
  • [TANKS]  If your group is not using any CC on the rest of the adds split them evenly.
  • [DPS] if you are one of the assigned CCers refresh the spell each time your targets breaks from it until the tank pick’s it up.
  • [DPS] [TANKS] Interrupt heals of the 2 healers : Lady Keira and Lady Catriona.
  • [ALL] during the fight dancing ghost’s will spawn across the room, and they will blow up after a short period of time, they apply debuff to you that increase damage taken from arcane spells. Avoid them with movement abilities.
  • [ALL] Moroes apply Garrote debuff on random target once a while, this needs to be outhealed
  • [ALL] once moroes hits around 70% he will start applying ‘Dinner is Served’ debuff on your raid members, at this point you should look for your food, run to it and click on it like you would be opening a chest (it will glimmer). Once food is eaten it will be replaced by the next food in the queue. Food cycle is as follows : FISH -> APPLE -> WINE -> ORANGE -> PIG -> FISH, FAWOP in short. If you can’t find your food you can ‘cycle’ it by eating the wrong food.
As seen in the picture this time it is ORANGE
As seen in the picture this time it is ORANGE

As seen in the above picture this time it is ORANGE

Tips & Tricks :

  • You can reset the boss fight by exiting the room.
  • Try to memories the FAWOP or prepare yourself a macro to press it during the fight
    /raid FISH -> APPLE -> WINE -> ORANGE -> PIG -> FISH

  • You can check the food early in the fight and more or less remember the initial place of each food. If you struggle. Separate yourself in several groups, each group should take care of one of the tables with the food.
  • Don’t stand on top of the food so you are not covering it for others.

Maiden of Virtue

[Trash] :

  • [TANK] pull groups 1 by 1 watch out for patrols.
  • [TANK, DPS] focus on Concubines they can harm your tank resulting in deaths and potentially a wipe.
  • Clear entrance of the room on the left of the boss chamber to ensure that trash packs won’t be pulled during the encounter.

[Pre Pull] :

  • Spread around the room to avoid the group being chained by Holy Wrath during the fight.

  • Get Sulfuron Slammer (it can be purchased in Black Rock Depths) to avoid character stun during Repentance.

[Fight]

  • [TANKS] tank maiden in the middle of the room. If you have too many stacks of Holy Ground, the other tank can taunt the boss, and you should stay out of the inner circle to clear out your stacks.
  • [ melee DPS] if you have too many stacks of Holy Ground stay out of the inner circle to clear it out.
  • [HEALERS, ranged DPS] When you see the Repentance cast, use your Sulfuron Slammer or run in the inner circle of the room, then run out right after the cast.
  • [ALL] Maiden will periodically cast AoE ability called [Desperate Prayer], when she does get inside the circle right at the start of the cast, near the end of the cast when it is 75%-80% done everyone should leave the inner circle, [TANKS] charge in right after [Desperate Prayer] cast.

Tips & Tricks :

  • The AoE damage is global so your raid member can get killed by Maiden AoE regardless where he is in the instance

Opera Event

[Trash] :

  • [ALL] skeleton mobs at the entrance of the opera will lock the target in ice, try not to fight more than 2 at the same time, and watch out for a patrol.
  • [TANKS] ensure you are constantly moving opera trash mobs around, they will summon small lights that increase their damage done. Don’t let them stay in the lights.
  • After clearing the trash, group up at the dorman do full rebuff and ready check before talking to him.

There is a possibility of getting one of 3 random encounters, they all share the main mechanic which is ‘Audience Light (todo: proper name)’.

Audience Light : from time to time the light will appear on stage and it will wander around and then stop. Everyone should get in that light and STOP casting abilities, the light mechanic will choose 1 random ability from your learned abilities and forbid you to use it for next ~12 seconds, if you use it regardless you will drop poison that deals moderate AoE damage to all raid members.

Romulo and Julianne

Phase 1 (only Julianne is active) :

  • [ALL] interrupt Julianne focusing on interrupting all Eternal Affection casts.
  • [ALL] dispel/spellsteal Devotion.

Phase 2 (only Romulo is active) :

  • [TANKS]Tank Romulo facing away from others to ensure no one gets cleaved.
  • [TANKS] Romulo will place healing reduction debuff on tank, if your group is on lower side DPS wise, tanks should switch to avoid overstacking the debuff.
  • [ALL] Disarm Romulo on cooldown.
  • [ALL] dispel/spellsteal Daring.

Phase 3 (both Romulo and Julianne are active, they need to die within 10 seconds on each other)

  • Same as Phase 1+2 combined.
  • [Melee] should focus on Julianneand ensure all interruptions are on point.
  • [Ranged DPS] should focus on Romulo

[DPS] if hp of the bosses is vastly different DPS should switch to keep % hp of bosses relatively the same in range of ~= 10%

Wizard of Oz

Phase 1

  • [ALL] follow kill order : Dorothee -> (Roar/Strawman/Tinhead) Dorothee must be killed first, then it’s up to your raid leader/group composition but shouldn’t matter much.
  • [1 FROST DPS] focus on Tinhead; he will rust when hit by frost abilities making him much easier to tank and avoid, once he has 10 stacks on rust you can switch to kill order.
  • [1 FIRE DPS] focus on Strawman, fire damage can disorient him.

Phase 2

  • Crone will spawn after all 4 bosses are dead, avoid cyclones and try to get into the light so you don’t spread poison.

Big Bad Wolf

  • [ALL] from time to time boss will focus his gaze on the target, and transform him into Little Red Riding Hood :

With this debuff player needs to run along the edges of the stage. If you can’t get into the light as Little Red Riding Hood, try to drop your poison in a corner.

  • [HEALERS] focus your healing on Little Red Riding Hood.

Tips & Tricks :

  • Opera even starts once you talk to the dorman right at the entrance to the stage, it can only be started after Moroes is killed.
  • If you can it is recommended to learn Portal Mastery and all available portals for your faction before the fight, then unlearn Portal Mastery and learn Tracking Mastery

Nightbane

To start nightbane encounter one need to complete small quest chain : https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Nightbane_quest_chain

The fight consists of 2 phases, Ground phase, and Air Phase that is started at 75%,50%,25%.

This is 1 tank fight.

Ground Phase :

  • [TANKS] face the boss sideways away from the raid so the breath won’t affect the rest of the raid.
  • [RANGED] stack on 1 person to conserve the room in regards to the Charred Earth.
  • [ALL] move out of Charred Earth that will spawn on the ground.
  • [ALL] Tremor Totem/Fear Ward/CC prevention is very useful in this fight, if possible prevent the tank from being Feared so he won’t turn boss around.

Air Phase :

  • [ALL] stack up on the tank, when skeletons start to appear, move away and let the tank pick them up.
  • [DPS] focus on killing the adds.
  • [TANK] make sure to pick up the boss after he lands, he resets the aggro at the end of Air Phase.

The Curator

[Trash] Healers watch out for trash pre Curator, they have mana shields and therefore it's much harder for tanks to get a threat on them.

The fight consists of 3 phases (Flares phase, Evocation phase, Enrage phase).

This is a 2 tank fight.

[Flares Phase]

  • [DPS] focus on killing the flares damage on the boss doesn’t matter that much during this phase.
  • [ALL] when you are marked with Termination move away from the raid group.
  • [ALL] when the Curator has about ~30% mana, the next person marked with Termination needs to stand behind the crystal so the crystal will blow up. Otherwise the boss will get HP regen buff during Evocation phase

  • [TANKS] you need to be first and second on threat, Curator will hit 2nd highest on threat table target with Hateful Bolt.

[Evocation Phase] - begins each time when the Curator hits 0% mana.

  • [ALL] focus all dps on the boss, keep moving out of the raid if you are marked as a Termination target.

[Enrage Phase] (Boss HP : 16%)

  • [DPS] if any Flares are still remaining focus them before killing the boss.
  • [TANKS] hateful hits will start to hit for more and more, make sure to use your defensive cooldowns properly.

Terestian Illhoof

[Trash] [TANKS] entering the illhoof room taunt the small imps and hide behind the wall so the imps will follow you.

  • [ALL] Illhoof will cast Sacrifice on a random target, it will put the target in chains in the middle of the room on the green rune, [DPS] need to focus the chains as a primary target
  • [DPS] kill order : Chains (from Sacrifice) -> Kil’rek -> Imps (only when Kil’rek is dead) -> Illhoof.
  • [TANKS] 2 tanks are required for this fight, please decide among yourself which one will be on small imps and which one of Illhoof + kil'rek, below is a very useful macro for any tank, just replace Growl with your corresponding tanking skill.
    #showtooltip
    /target Kil’rek
    /cast Growl
    /targetlasttarget

Shade of Aran

Shade of Aran is 1 tank fight, unless your raid group consists of over 15 people then the second tank won’t hurt you.  Aran doesn’t have a threat table so dps don’t need to worry about any threat.

  • [CASTERS] should stand at least 10 yards away from Aran to avoid getting hit by Counterspell

[Phase 1] (Boss HP : 100%-20%)

Aran will cast 3 special abilities every 30 seconds:

  • Flame Wreath will be casted on random raid members, they CAN’T move and no one else should move near them or enter a fire circle.
  • Circular Blizzard, is a large blizzard that will always move clockwise around the room it will do one full lap (360 degree) before despawning, it also does despawn if aran starts drinking.
  • Arcane Explosion, Aran will pull everyone towards the middle of the room, you are supposed to avoid it by running away and hiding between the bookshelves, Blink/Disengage is advised here.

[Water Elementals] (Boss HP : 40%) -  When the boss hits exactly 40% of the hp, he will summon 4 Water Elementals

  • [DPS] It is advised to focus the elementals 1 by 1 in an organized manner.
  • [TANK] elementals don’t have a threat table but you can taunt them to make them focus you for next frostbolt casts.
  • [ALL] Water Elementals casts can and should be interrupted.

[Phase 2] (Boss HP : 20%-0%)

Aran will shield himself from all damage for a certain period of time, and summon Mana Wyrms, on top of preparing delayed Arcane Explosions across the room. He will leave out about ⅛ of the room free of the effect, this is the spot everyone must geather immediately.

  • [TANK] pick up the adds immediately and ensure you have aggro on yourself, they burn mana with each attack.
  • [DPS] until Aran’s Shield is down, kill the adds, depending on survivability of the tank you should keep killing the adds or switch fully on Aran after his shield is down.
  • [ALL] please refer to the image below, this is an example of Arcane Explosion’s preparation that will spawn around the room. GREEN CIRCLE is safe area where everyone must geather, no one should be standing near the beams.

Netherspite

Netherspite requires 2 tanks. This fight consists of 2 interchanging phases: Portal Phase and Banish Phase. During Portal Phase there will always be 3 portals spawned across the room that will shoot the beam towards Netherspite.

On the pull the Portals (indicated by P(1-3)) will have a set color P1 - Green, P2 - Blue, P3 - Red, the colors will randomly shift after each Banish Phase.

The beams from the Portals power up Netherspite increasing his combat abilities, stacking up to 50 times. A player should stand between beam and Netherspite and power up himself with this effects :

  • Red Beam -> Forcing Netherspite to focus his attack on you. Increase your health by 31000, then reduce your health by 1000 every second, reduce your damage taken by 2% every second for 25 seconds.
  • Green Beam -> Increase your healing done by 2%, reduce your spell costs by 2% and reduces your maximum mana by 250, every second for 25 seconds
  • Blue Beam -> Increase your damage dealt by 2%, your spell damage taken by 2%, and your movement speed by 2%.

[Portal Phase]

Beam Soaking  - (standing in the way of the beam that goes from Portal -> Boss) :

  • [TANKS] you need to manage Red Beam, 1 per phase should receive red beam buff, if you find yourself going too low on maximum HP you can move out of the beam and let the boss get the buff, ensuring no one else will be hit by the beam.
  • [HEALERS] you should manage Green Beam, if you notice yourself to be too low on maximum mana, ask DPS that doesn’t use mana, to soak the beam.
  • [CASTER DPS] you should soak blue beam, if you don’t feel like you can manage extra spell damage taken 2 people need to cycle during 1 Portal Phase.
  • [ALL] Netherspite will spawn voids on the floor, you should move out of it immediately.

  • [HEALERS] Netherspite have an AoE aura that deals small amounts of shadow damage to the entire raid, aoe heals are advised for this fight.

[Banish Phase]

  • During Banish Phase everyone should spread out and run in his chosen zone, avoiding the small mana orbs that are indicated in the image below, once they turn red they will explode dealing significant amounts of damage.

  • Netherspite will cast Netherbreath on random targets, this is a cone attack type to avoid it facing the tail of Netherspite.
  • [TANKS] at the end of the Banish Phase, and at the start of Portal Phase locate Red Beam immediately and position yourself correctly between the beam and the boss.

Repeat the cycle of 2 phases until the boss will be dead.

Tips & Tricks :

  • You can ensure your safety with immunity cooldowns during the banish phase..
  • Try to grab shadow resistance abilities (Paladin aura, priest shadow buff).
  • Netherspite doesn't cleave or tail swipe like most dragons.

Chess Event

Chess event
  • Depending which faction is assigned to you, to start the chess event you need to talk to King Piece (Warchief or Human Paladin).
  • This isn't a typical boss encounter; each player can take control of the chess piece by talking to it after the encounter is started.
  • Some pieces can move 2 squares at once. To make it an easy and fast fight, everyone should control the special pieces, while the rest of the players take care of pawns (Footmans/Grunts)
  • Necrolytes/Clerics are healer pieces, they should focus on ensuring that the King stays alive, since fight is considered lost and need to be redone if your King dies.

Prince Malchezaar

[Trash] :

  • [TANKS] watch out while tanking Greater Flesh Beasts, they do have cleave and they do massive damage.

Prince Malchezzar fight can be tanked by 1 or 2 tanks. It consists of 3 phases:

  • Phase 1 (100%-70%)
  • Phase 2 (70%-30%)
  • Phase 3 (30%-0%).

[Infernals]

During the fight Infernals will fall down from the sky and fall on marked locations (big circular mark on the ground). Infernals won’t fall on the same spot for approximately 3 minutes.

Infernals, deal damage in small aoe around them (range is a bit bigger then purple marker that indicate infernal spot). When infernal is blown up it one shots anyone in range so stay away from them.

Boss will cast Shadow Nova, you can outrange the knockback by moving 30 yards away, and outrange the damage done by the nova by moving ~20 yards away.

[HEALERS, anyone else with dispel] - you should dispel Shadow Word: Death.

[Shadow Realm] - boss will put random players inside Shadow Realm, to get out you need to press on crystals inside the realm, you can press while running. You will be periodically pulled around by mobs, which will die in 1 hit, it is advised to kill some of them while you are inside so they won’t be annoying for the next person inside.

Phase 1 (Boss HP : 100%-70%) this is soft DPS check you need to down the boss to 70% before you run out of room:

  • [TANK] ensure you position Prince Correctly so you don’t outrange yourself from healers and at the same time allow DPS to hit the boss.
  • [RANGED DPS,HEALERS] try to group up so infernals spawns can be easier to control.
  • [MELEE] follow the tank, and make sure you won’t be standing in an infernal drop point.

Phase Change (Boss HP : 70%) boss will cast Doom! on all infernals, [ALL] need to ensure they are not standing between any infernal and a boss, nor on any infernal.

Phase 2 (Boss HP : 70%-30%) boss will start to cast Doom! that will blow up the infernal, they are targeted in order they spawned, multiple infernals can be blown up at the same time if you position yourself correctly, boss will also apply sunder armor (10% armor reduction).

  • [TANK] You need to position yourself with the boss correctly, Prince casts Doom! On the ‘oldest’ infernal, you can try to position the boss to blow up multiple infernals at once.
  • [TANK] If you have a second Tank, and you feel like getting hit hard because of Sunder Armor, ask the second tank to taunt until your stacks drop off.
  • [MELEE] watch out closely when doom happens, the fire path between boss and infernals can deal a lot of damage to you.

Phase Change (Boss HP : 30%) boss will cast Doom! on all infernals, [ALL] need to ensure they are not standing between any infernal and a boss, nor on any infernal.

Phase 3 (Boss HP : 30%-0%) boss will no longer use Sunder Armor, instead he will let go of his axes that will target random players, and follow them around. Phase 3 is very similar to Phase 2.

Below is a small showcase of simulated fight.
