What is a Mark of Ascension?

Mark of Ascension is a currency earned through a wide variety of in-game activities, from PvE (Dungeons, raids, quests, prestige), to Daily Quests on the Ascension Call Board, as well as completing Daily Random Dungeons through the Dungeon Finder. There are also non-repeatable Outland Quests that can be redeemed for rewards from Nozdormu or Silas Darkmoon (Silas Darkmoon only available for special game modes and seasonal servers)

Viewing Your Marks of Ascension

Mark of Ascension is a currency item, meaning you will not drop them in high-risk PvP and cannot transfer them to your bank, bags or mail them. To view your Mark of Ascension's open your Character Info Sheet (keybind; "C") by default. Select the Currency Tab, and look for Mark of Ascension.

Earning Marks of Ascension on Project Ascension

There's a huge variety of activities in-game that'll net you Marks of Ascension, so much so that just throughout the course of playing the game, in whatever way you like, you'll end up getting quite a few of them.

  • Daily Quests
  • Outland Quests
  • Prestige levels
  • Battlegrounds

Spending Marks of Ascension

There's three main places to spend your Marks of Ascension:

  • Nozdormu: You can pick up a variety of items from Nozdormu, including Heirlooms, a number of trinkets, Ability/Talent Purges, Scroll of Talent Unlearning, and an assortment of general items.
  • Silas Darkmoon: Marks of Ascension can be traded to Silas Darkmoon for rerolls on the seasonal Server, Elune.
