Mystic Extracts are one of the three currencies useable in mystic enchanting , the others being Mystic orbs and Mystic runes. Mystic extracts are used for destroying a piece of equipment to add its enchantments to your collection of learned RE's. Once learned, you may apply the enchantment to other pieces of gear.

Mystic extracts are not gained by quests and loot as orbs and runes are. They are awarded for repeated reforging of gear with mystic runes. Each reforge advances a bar at the top of the window, which awards one extract when completed, and increases the level displayed (your Mystic Enchanting level). The higher your Mystic Enchanting level, the more reforges it takes to level up again. The higher the item level you reforge, the more progress it provides.
Given that players use large amounts of mystic runes at max level, and that players need around 5-10 res for a fully fleshed out build, mystic extracts are abundant.
How to extract a random enchantment[]
- You need to find a rare or higher rarity item which has a RE you want, an available mystic altar, and an available mystic extract.
- Place the item in the item slot, to the left.
- Click on Extract.
- You will be presented with a warning that the item will be destroyed and cannot be restored. Choose yes. And there you have it! Your very own random enchantment.
