Season 6 - Wildcard Launches September 25th 18:00 GMT+1!
Season Overview
Season 6 is a totally fresh start launching on Septermber 25th at 18:00 server time GMT+1. This means all players begin at level 1.
All Heroes are in Wildcard Mode the entirety of the season. It's your randomly rolled build against other random builds rather you are working together to conquer a raid or competing in Arenas or World PvP.
The only thing that transfers to Season 6 from other Ascension realms are Transmogrifications. So if you unlocked an awesome tmog set in past seasons or Core Realms you will have access to it in Season 5.
The Burning Crusade is released on launch
Future seasons may see progression through Classic WoW Content, but in Season 6 The Burning Crusade will be released from day 1. So you will be leveling 1-70 right out of the gate and Blood Elf and Draenei will be unlocked at release.
