Season 9: Destiny's Dawn[]
In Season 9, the focus is on returning to the core of classless WoW, allowing players to discover their unique hero and fantasy by playing the way they want. This season introduces the Wild Card mode, where players can unlock hundreds of new individual abilities and talents without restrictions. A reimagined Wild Card mode involves rolling random abilities and talents every level from level 10, allowing players to shape their builds by rerolling weaker abilities. There are no caps or restrictions on what players can create. Throughout the season, players can continuously improve their hero using Scrolls of Fortune to swap out weaker abilities and talents for new ones. Marks of Ascension earned through quests allow players to trade for more Scrolls of Fortune, ensuring limitless progression. Skill cards guarantee specific abilities and talents, and duplicates automatically recycle or upgrade, ensuring constant progress. Silas Dark Moon in capital cities provides Scrolls of Fortune, quests, and a place to exchange Dark Moon tickets for specific skill cards and cosmetics.
Season 9 introduces new challenges such as Adventure Mode which reintroduces danger to the open world, with every monster becoming elite mob, making your weaker and causing non-hostile mobs to randomly band together to kill your character! Players can choose their difficulty from 1 to 100 for greater rewards and harsher challenges. Hardcore trials provide a Ironman, one life, challenge and exclusive rewards such as mounts and transmog for daring adventurers. Season 9 will progress faster, with four chapters (read below) introducing new content, quests, world bosses, and cosmetics.
Raid Trials offer an infinite scaling challenge for the greatest adventurers, with leaderboards and legendary cosmetics awaiting those who push the limits of raiding. Two new world bosses add to the excitement, while Mythic Plus dungeons now offer raid gear and increased rewards.
The Manastorm challenges in Destiny's Dawn Season 9 introduce players to an unpredictable and chaotic environment caused by the mischievous actions of the mighty Millhouse Manastorm. Players are thrust into the midst of the Manastorm, where dungeons flicker and meld together, creating a surreal and ever-changing landscape. The challenges begin as players enter solo or with a party, facing the task of diving deep into dungeons that have been affected by the wild magic. Portals launch players into random segments of dungeons, where they must locate and defeat bosses to progress. However, as they advance, chaos thickens, and the monsters grow stronger, sometimes even changing entirely.
Arena PvP gets a refresh with exclusive maps to Ascension WoW, offering a fresh experience for seasoned fighters. Players can join the adventure on December 15th, experiencing a fresh start alongside hundreds of thousands of others.
True Classless: Wildcard Reimagined[]

Ascension has always been about true classless gameplay for World of Warcraft, and has taken steps to fulfil that idea, starting with Season 9, former Mystic Enchants have now been transformed into Talents and Abilities you can pick up while playing the game. Using the new Dice system, you can obtain any of the 1500+ unique to Ascension talents and abilities without having to limit your build.

In the new system, you gain a random talent every level and a random ability every other level. Which can range from Uncommon, Rare, Epic or even Legendary with 5 point talents or rare and powerful abilities. Regardless of a 1 point talent or a 5/5, all talents will take up only 1 slot.
Removed from the Classless system is rarity caps, you are no longer limited by the abilities you have, instead, Legendary abilities remain hard to obtain, but you can have a build of just those talents!
The means to reroll less useful abilities and talents is through Scrolls of Fortune, obtained through reaching level milestones before max level or through Marks of Ascension when at Max level from either Silas Darkmoon or his Ogre companion Burth.
You will obtain 2 types of Scrolls of Fortune, a general one which can be used to reroll either talents or abilities and a specific one which can only be used on rerolling your talents.

As you progress through the world, you will be able to obtain Skill card packs, which come in two varieties, regular and Golden. When you obtain packs you can obtain either a Skill card pack or a Talent card pack, each of which will have 5 random cards ranging from Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary cards which you can use to guarantee an ability or talent as you level. For example, if you use a Skill card - Blink you will unlock Blink at level 20 every time.
You will have access to Four ability card slots, two regular cards and two golden cards slots, and six talent card slots, three regular and three golden.
Skill Cards now have their own inventory inside the Skill Card menu (Press N), no longer taking up your precious inventory space.
Card packs are not the only way to find Skill cards, out in the world, Creatures all across Azeroth drop the means to their abilities when slain, Priest monsters may drop the Skill Card - Inner Fire when slain.

Already have a skill card? No problem, as when you gain repeat cards, you gain progress towards getting 4 card packs, 1 Skill Card pack, 1 Talent Card pack, 1 Golden Skill Card pack and 1 Golden Talent Card pack as well as gaining Darkmoon tickets which you can exchange for specific Skill Cards sold by Silas Darkmoon or Burth or for Cosmetic items such as special mounts and pets.
Duplicate Talent cards however will instead upgrade themselves first, turning an Ignite 1/5 to an Ignite 2/5 eventually you can have it become, with enough duplicates, Ignite 5/5.
The Manastorm[]

Millhouse Manastorm lives up to his name by warping the barriers between your very dungeons in the new Manastorm challenge, a near-infinitely progressing dungeon experience where you are teleported into a random dungeon at a certain place before a boss and must defeat the boss to enter a portal to the next dungeon. After defeating a boss you will be given a Chest full of rewards such as raid gear, Scrolls of Fortune and Card packs. If you aren't already max level when entering the Manastorm, you will be given a huge amount of EXP based on your level.
As you delve further into the Manastorm, represented by levels, things become progressively harder, which there being over 4000 levels to progress through and cosmetic rewards to obtain, you'll be spending countless hours having a blast in Old dungeons with a new twist.
The Manastorm is available as early as level 10 and awards experience on successfully completing each level.
