How do I attune to TBC Heroics?

Burning Crusade Heroic Dungeon Attunement only requires honored reputation on World of Warcraft Project Ascension. These reputations can be earned from normal TBC dungeons and questing in various zones. You will automatically receive your attunement key in the mail upon reaching honored with the required reputations:

1. Reach level 58 and travel to Outland
2. Earn Honored Reputation with the requisite faction
3. Check your mail and obtain your Heroic Dungeon Key
4. Alternatively, earning Exalted on any character will grant an account bound Heroic Key that gives all character access to that Heroic.

How do I enter TBC Heroics?

Heroic Dungeons require attunements. Be sure to read below to learn how to attune for each TBC Heroic. If you plan on traveling to the dungeon, you should first ensure your Dungeon Difficulty is set to 5-player Heroic. Right click your character portrait, highlight over Dungeon Difficulty and then select 5-player Heroic.

The quickest way to enter a TBC Heroic is the Dungeon Finder. By default, "i" will open the Dungeon Finder or click the green eye icon in your options menu. Select the Heroic Dungeon you wish to queue for and your role. You can also create a full group of 5 players and use the Dungeon Finder to queue together and immediately teleport to the dungeon.

1. Obtain the required Heroic Key
2. Open the Dungeon Finder tool and select your role and desired Heroic Dungeon
3. You can also use /World, guild and friends to create a 5-man group, and use Dungeon Finder for an instant teleport to the Heroic Dungeon
   

How Often Can I Complete Heroic Dungeons?

Each heroic dungeon can only be completed one time per day per character, but you can bypass the one time per day limit via the "Random Burning Crusade Heroic Dungeon" option instead of selecting a specific Heroic Dungeon.

Attunement for Hellfire Citadel Heroic

The Flamewrought Key unlocks Hellfire Citadel Heroic Dungeons. Horde earn the key with Thrallmar Reputation and by Alliance with Honor Hold Reputation and will attune you to Heroic Hellfire Ramparts, Heroic Blood Furnace and Heroic The Shattered Halls. The quickest way to earn Honored with Thrallmar or Honor Hold is completing quests in Hellfire Peninsula or completing normal Hellfire Citadel dungeons.

The quickest way to attune Hellfire Citadel Heroic Dungeons is:

1. Quests in Hellfire Peninsula at Thrallmar and Honor Hold
2. Normal Hellfire Ramparts, Blood Furnace or Shattered Halls
3. Reach Honored Reputation

Attunement for Coilfang Reservoir Heroic

The Reservoir Key unlocks Coilfang Reservoir Heroic Dungeons. You earn the key with Cenarion Expedition Reputation and will attune you to Heroic Slave Pens, Heroic Underbog and Heroic The Steamvault. The quickest way to earn Honored with Cenarion Expedition is completing quests in Zangarmarsh at Cenarion Refuge or completing normal Coilfang Reservoir Dungeons.

The quickest way to attune Coilfang Reservoir Heroic Dungeons is:

1. Quests in Zangarmarsh at Cenarion Refuge
2. Normal Slave Pens, Underbog and The Steamvault
3. Reach Honored Reputation with Cenarion Expedition

Attunement for Auchindoun Heroic

The Auchenai Key unlocks Auchindoun Heroic Dungeons. You earn the key with Lower City Reputation and will attune you to Heroic Mana-Tombs, Heroic Sethekk Halls and Heroic Shadow Labyrinth. The quickest way to earn Honored with Lower City is completing quests in Lower City Shattrath, Stonebreaker Hold (Horde) and Allerian Strongold (Alliance) or completing normal Auchindoun Dungeons.

The quickest way to attune Auchindoun Heroic Dungeons is:

1. Quests in Terokkar Forest at Lower City Shattrath, Stonebreaker Hold (Horde) and Allerian Strongold (Alliance)
2. Normal Mana-Tombs, Sethekk Halls and Shadow Labyrinth
3. Reach Honored Reputation with Lower City

Attunement for Tempest Keep Heroic

The Tempest Key unlocks Tempest Keep Heroic Dungeons. You earn the key with The Sha'tar Reputation and will attune you to Heroic The Botanica, Heroic The Arcatraz and Heroic The Mechanar. The quickest way to earn Honored with The Sha'tar is completing quests for the Aldor or the Scryers factions, found in Shattrath, and questing in Shadowmoon Valley at Altar of Sha'tar (Aldor only) or Sanctum of the Stars (Scryer only) or completing normal Tempest Keep Dungeons.

The quickest way to attune Tempest Keep Heroic Dungeons is:

1. Quests in Shadowmoon Valley at Altar of Sha'tar (Aldor only) or Sanctum of the Stars (Scryer only)
2. Normal The Botanica, The Arcatraz and The Mechanar
3. Reach Honored Reputation with The Sha'tar

Attunement for Caverns of Time Heroic

Heroic Caverns of Time dungeons also require their normal dungeon attunements to be complete.

Escape from Durnholde Keep Attunement:

1. Reach at least level 66.
2. Talk to the Steward of Time located outside the entrance to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris
3. Accept the quest "To The Master's Lair" and talk to the Steward again and select the dialogue to "Take me to the master's lair."
4. Turn the quest in to Andormu, and accept "The Caverns of Time" follow up quest. Select the dialogue to skip or follow the tour, then accept "Old Hillsbrad."

Opening the Dark Portal Attunement:

1. Complete the steps above for Durnholde Keep.
2. Complete Old Hillsbrad and the follow up quests obtained within Durnholde Keep, Taretha's Diversion and Escape from Durnholde.
3. Return to Andormu and accept "The Black Morass" quest.

The Key of Time unlocks Caverns of Time Heroic Dungeons. You earn the key with Keepers of Time Reputation and will attune you to Heroic Opening the Dark Portal and Heroic Escape from Durnholde Keep. The quickest way to earn Honored with Keepers of Time is or completing normal Caverns of Time Dungeons.

The quickest way to attune Caverns of Time Heroic Dungeons is:

1. Complete the attunement quests explained above
2. Normal Opening the Dark Portal and Escape from Durnholde Keep
3. Reach Honored Reputation with Keepers of Time
